About POSSUM Clothing

Originally a trading company founded by Nathaniel Cole from 1832-1911 which bought products from over seas and then sold them to U.S buyers. The POSSUM name/branding was then was owned through the family until, POSSUM Clothings' founding in 1940 by Josiah Jaquein in Pine Bluff, Arkansas which was then moved to New York City. The original Opossum logo from the trading company is still used by us today and is used in some of our products. POSSUM Milan was made after Josiah sold the company and then later died in 1967 to Tio Buono. He had been the owner, without making or designing any clothes from 1970-2024, before selling to Dream Oak.

POSSUM is a favorite and top choice of many customers and has been since 1940, when the beginning brand made suits and dress clothes, then formed into jeans, and then into modern day comfortable clothes.

Most of our products are embroided, which is a top quality finish of a great design.

Thanks to Dream Oak Outfitters, POSSUM is expanding into a huge, and hopefully big name brand. We are proud to announce many new clothes and collections which includes 2 that are already for sale,
